How do I create a birth poster with the exact date, time and place of birth?

Enter the details once — first name, date, time, city, weight and length — and Birth to Wall lays them out for you, with the street map or the starry sky centred on the exact birthplace. The preview updates live as you type, and no account is required.

What is a Birth to Wall poster?

A personalized poster celebrating a child's birth with the real data from the day: name, date and time, place, weight and length. The design is filled with the street map of the birthplace, the real starry sky at the minute of birth, or a typographic layout, in one of 4 styles: Fine line, Watercolour, Starry night or Typographic.

Which products can I order?

The poster (A3 or A2, 200gsm matte paper) is available in every language. On the French site, the same design also comes as two-sided birth announcement cards, a three-panel nursery triptych and a growth chart poster. The price is always shown before payment.

Which poster sizes are available?

A3 (29.7 × 42 cm) and A2 (42 × 59.4 cm), on 200gsm matte paper. The poster ships unframed and fits a standard A3 or A2 frame if you want to frame it yourself.

What's the difference between map, sky and text?

Map draws the streets of the birthplace from OpenStreetMap. Sky reconstructs the stars and constellations above that spot at the minute of birth. Text puts the name and data front and centre, with no illustration. Fine line, Watercolour and Starry night offer all three; Typographic is text only.

Yes — the announcement image. Once you enter the name and date in the editor, we email you a square image for WhatsApp or Instagram and a vertical story version. There is no PDF or paid download: every product is printed.

How long does delivery take and what does it cost?

Everything is printed and shipped by Gelato in Europe. Shipping cost and delivery time are calculated from your address and shown at checkout; in France, a poster typically takes 5–7 business days.

Is the print delivered framed?

No — posters ship unframed. The nursery triptych is the only product offered with frames (oak, white or black), or as prints only.

Can I edit my poster after I start?

Yes. You can change name, date, time, city, style and variant as many times as you like before paying; the preview follows every change. What you see is exactly what gets printed.

Is it a good gift for a birth or a baby shower?

Yes — it's the most common use, for parents, grandparents or godparents. At checkout, the gift option ships the parcel without an invoice inside and with a short note. There are no gift cards: design the poster and ship it straight to the recipient.

Is the star chart astronomically accurate?

Yes. Star and constellation positions are computed for the birthplace and the minute of birth. The rendering follows the chosen style, but the chart matches the real sky at that moment.

Is my personal data protected?

Yes. The data you enter (name, city, date…) is only used to compose your design and process your order, and is never sold. Payment is handled by Stripe, data is hosted in the EU, and you can ask for deletion at any time.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Payment goes through Stripe: cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Promo codes can be entered at checkout.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Send a photo of the parcel and the product to hello@birthtowall.com and we will arrange a reprint with our print partner Gelato.
