Frequently asked questions — Tours birth poster
Ordering, maternities, lead times, styles — the essentials for Tours.
- How to order a Tours birth poster?
- In the Birth to Wall editor, enter the child's name, birth date and time, and type « Tours » in the city field. Autocomplete offers precise districts if you want to refine (e.g. « Tours center » or a neighborhood name). Free live preview: you only pay when you order the print, and the price is shown before payment.
- Which Tours maternities does the editor recognize?
- All — Birth to Wall relies on OpenStreetMap, which lists every French healthcare facility. Notably: CHRU de Tours — Maternité Olympe de Gouges, Pôle Santé Léonard de Vinci. If the maternity is newer or very specific, just enter its address.
- How fast is delivery to Tours?
- The A3 or A2 poster on 200gsm matte paper is printed in Europe by our partner Gelato. Shipping cost and lead time to Tours are calculated at checkout from the address — usually 5–7 business days in France.
- Which style for a Tours birth poster?
- There are 4 styles: Fine line (clean lines, map, sky or text), Watercolour (soft, ideal for a nursery), Starry night (the sky above Tours at the minute of birth) and Typographic (name and data only). You can try them all in the editor for free.
- Can I order a poster retroactively for a Tours birth from years ago?
- Yes, no date limit. The cartographic engine reconstructs Tours from the current OSM base (street layouts change very little over 50 years), and the starry sky is recomputed for the exact date and time. A frequent gift to parents or grandparents for an adult child's birth.
- Does Birth to Wall work for Mother's or Father's Day in Tours?
- Yes — it's the most common use after the birth gift itself. There are dedicated Mother's Day and Father's Day pages. Order ahead: the delivery time to Tours is shown at checkout.
